Arthritis Classes

Sunshine Inc. of Northwest Ohio, in conjunction with the Arthritis Foundation, sponsors ongoing aquatic exercise classes for people with arthritis.  The program provides an opportunity for people with arthritis to meet others with the condition, participate in a recreational exercise program in a heated pool and have fun.

Program participants are led by trained personnel through a series of specially designed exercises that, with the aid of the water’s buoyancy and resistance, can help improve joint flexibility.  The warm water and gentle movement can also help to relieve joint pain and stiffness.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday      9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
